Maui Mall May iPad winner from Doris Todd Memorial Christian School
Teachers encouraged to nominate students for monthly giveaway even during summer months
Maui Mall recently awarded Karina Battacharya, an eighth-grader from Doris Todd Memorial Christian School, an iPad as part of its recent Maui Mall Family Sunday event. In addition, Dyani Pierner, a fourth-grader from Kahului Elementary School, was awarded an iPod.
Battacharya and Pierner were nominated by their teachers for their strength and achievements in academics and character. Teachers are encouraged to nominate their students for this monthly iPad and iPod drawing, even while school is out of session. The next Family Sundays event and iPad and iPod giveaway event on June 24 will highlight home economics, culinary arts and woodshop. The deadline to submit nomination forms for this event is June 11.
