Maui Humane Society has volunteer opportunities for families looking to help out Maui’s homeless pets. It’s a great place to get your pet fix; every animal from turtles and guinea pigs to cats and dogs would love to have your attention! Volunteers help with exercising animals, folding brochures and newsletters, cleaning, folding towels, customer service and more! Children, ages 5 to 14, can volunteer with their parents in shelter and children 15 years and older can come in on their own.
Not able to come into the shelter? Reserve a spot in our Beach Buddies program. This program is fun for all ages and species involved. This program is offered most Wednesdays and Fridays and allows you to take a wonderful shelter dog out on the town for the day. It’s never too early or late to start volunteering!
