All month long, explore the many bizarre and fascinating creatures with even stranger abilities and defenses with Naturalist presentation, a Creepy Creatures Scavenger Hunt and Freaky Fish Fact Cards. On Halloween, fun-filled activities include Trick-or-Treat candy and Halloween trinkets and exciting Underwater Pumpkin carving demonstrations at 11:30am and 1:00pm.

Sleep with the Sharks!326

October is approaching and that means Halloween is just around the corner!  Kids ages 8-13 are invited to celebrate Halloween early with a very ‘spook-tacular’ Sleep with the Sharks on Friday, October 4th!  They will have the unique opportunity to spend the night either next to our enchanting Open Ocean exhibit teeming with over 21 sharks, stingrays and fish, or next to the mystifying Sea Jellies exhibit–a favorite among previous sleepover participants.  A variety of exciting educational activities and games will be included, as well as a pizza party and light breakfast.  Each child must bring his or her own white cotton pillow case for a ‘thrilling’ gyotaku printing activity.  See the attached flyer or visit our Facebook event page for more details.
