A fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui (BGCM) proudly serving over 7,000 youth annually through community outreach programs and events. With a $5.00 annual membership fee BGCM strives to provide a safe environment with enrichment opportunities to enable all of our keiki to reach their full potential. The gala will feature food stations manned by some of Maui’s top chefs alongside keiki representatives from each of our six clubs, Live music by Uncle Willie K, a custom menu prepared by Chef Bev Gannon and so much MORE!

October is Pumpkin Patch Season and it is open season on pumpkins and gourds of all sizes for eating or decorating! Special events include the famous walk-through corn maze, pumpkin pie, pumpkin carving, and costume contests. The farm will also feature a Country Music Center, Halloween crafts, delicious goodies, pumpkin carving supplies, local crafters and food vendors and more!

Shoot bows with a centaur, build fairy crowns with the fairies, collect items from our mythical guests to build your own magic wand with the wizard! For children of all ages who appreciate the mystic. Explore Maui in a way you’ve never seen it before!

Go behind-the-scenes with a marine naturalist to explore the Aquarium lab and discover what it takes to care for the marine animals at Maui Ocean Center. Learn about sharks and turtles and enjoy the unique opportunity to feed the marine life at Turtle Lagoon and Hammerhead Harbor. Talk Story & Hula Lessons with Kahu Dane Maxwell and ‘Ohana

Maui Ocean Center’s Hawaiian Cultural Advisor Kahu Dane Maxwell and ‘Ohana (family) will conduct a talk story session and hula lesson at the end of the Open Ocean tunnel. This activity is complimentary with aquarium admission and appropriate for all ages. Schedule subject to change.

Wet Naturalist

Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

See, touch, and learn about Hawaii’s marine invertebrates with a marine naturalist! Encounter Hawaii’s tide pool critters during a fun, interactive presentation. A marine naturalist will conduct the presentation from within the Discovery Pool or Tide Pool exhibit with sea cucumbers, sea stars, urchins, and other critters. Included with Aquarium admission.

Featuring a monthly, rotating- themed Exploration Station at Maui Ocean Center’s Living Reef! Speak with a marine naturalist and learn about turtles in August, marine debris in September, and marine invertebrates in October. Station features include interactive displays, microscopes, and small live animals depending on the theme. Included with Aquarium admission.
