21st Annual Youth Ukulele Players Contest

Youth ‘ukulele players from kindergarten through high school are invited to participate in the 21st year of the Hula Grill Ukulele Contest. The contest gives Hawaii’s keiki the chance to perform on stage in front of a live audience.

October is Pumpkin Patch Season and it is open season on pumpkins and gourds of all sizes for eating or decorating! Special events include the famous walk-through corn maze, pumpkin pie, pumpkin carving, and costume contests. The farm will also feature Halloween crafts, delicious goodies, pumpkin carving supplies, local crafters, food vendors and more!

Trusted Lamaze Childbirth Preparation Education on Maui. Participants enter the class with a bit of anxiety and albeit fear of the labor and birth process. They leave the class with more confidence, information, and knowledge about the process. It is an Interactive, Engaging Experience with Learning and Practicing Coping and Comfort Measures. Lamaze is about confidence building, to help navigate the way onto a much smoother uncomplicated path to
the Beautiful Informed Birth of your amazing newborn baby.
Class Size is limited to 4 couples for more personal attention.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Alzheimer’s Association is excited to announce the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 20th, 2018 at the Boys and Girls Club, Keopuolani Park, Wailuku.  Registration starts at 7 a.m.  and the Walk begins at 8 a.m.  Join us for free, or start your own team and donate to the cause!  This is a great way to show support to our beautiful kapuna on Maui.  The day will include entertainment, light refreshments and photo opportunities.  We are also looking for new Advocates (sign up at our Advocacy table!)  For more info email
