TreeCircus
November 8, 1-2pm
Sponsored by the US Forest Service and Western Chapter International Society is Arboriculture. Join us for an educational and energetic assembly about protecting our environment and learning about the urban forest.
TreeCircus will hold its third annual Hawaii Arbor Day Tour. The events will engage students with a rollicking, interactive show about the benefits of trees in our communities. This is the first event of its kind on Maui – it has only been held on Oahu in the past.
TreeCircus, the performing moniker of edu-tainer Timmy Womick, helps students understand how their local trees can lower the temperature and raise their spirits. Throughout assembly, participants learn about trees, the value of trees, and why we should plant more of them. Most importantly, the students learn how they can grow up to be arborists themselves!
This program is sponsored by the US Forest Service and the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, and is locally supported by the Aloha Arborist Association.
