On Saturday, November 5th from 7am– 2pm St. Rita, Haiku will hold its 6th Annual Fall Sale featuring a huge rummage sale, fresh produce, plants, scrumptious baked goods, jams, jellies and pickled items. Portuguese Bean Soup and Beef Teriyaki plates are on the event menu. New this year is a Silent Auction! The wide array of items up for bid include jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, massages, haircuts, power tools, artwork, etc. This once a year event brings the Maui community to our little town of Haiku. Go behind-the-scenes with a marine naturalist to explore the Aquarium lab and discover what it takes to care for the marine animals. Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii offers a weekly story time and craft hour for children ages 3-12 in the Hawaiians and the Sea exhibit. Enjoy a story reading by a marine naturalist followed by a fun, ocean-themed craft workshop.
