“Ice” Skating in Ka’anapali

November 29th-January 2nd

Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas

A first among Hawaii resorts, the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas presents a timeless holiday tradition with ice skating in the tropics. The Westin will transform its outdoor ocean lawn into a holiday escape complete with a 1,000 square-foot hybrid ice skating rink offering magnificent views of the warm Pacific and humpback whales. The rink’s surface is made with a synthetic polymer and finished with a natural glide for a real ice feel, allowing the use of ice skates. This is an environmentally sound alternative to real ice as it doesn’t need refrigeration units, generators or electricity. There is a $15 fee for one hour access to the rink. The $15 fee includes skate rental. Skating hours are Mondays to Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m. and from 1 to 9 p.m. on weekends. Children must be at least 7-years-old and 42 inches or taller. Visit www.westinkaanapali.com.
