Kahului, Maui, HI (November 18, 2013) – Maui Mall’s Family Sundays event on November 24 from 12-2 p.m. will focus on appreciation, gratitude and Thanksgiving. The event will include a keiki activity passport in which children can visit three Maui United Way fun stations to enter to win gift cards.
It will also include the popular student recognition portion and iPad Mini giveaway via teacher nomination. This is the last Family Sundays event before the finale on January 26, in which students who have been featured onstage in 2013 will be given another opportunity to be recognized for their efforts. In addition, students that were not awarded an iPad Mini in 2013 will be given a chance to win a MacBook Air notebook.
Other highlights:
- Genki Sushi Spicy Ahi Tuna Roll Eating Contest – For teens only. Pre-register at Genki Sushi Maui Mall.
- Adult Scavenger Hunt – Winning adult will receive a $50 gift card to Longs Drugs. Second place winner will receive a $25 gift card to Genki Sushi.
- Fun Factory Keiki Scavenger Hunt – Two children will win $25 in Fun Factory tokens.
- Onstage Trivia by Read Aloud America. Storytelling, snacks and free books in Whole Foods Market immediately after Family Sundays
