A cultural protocol ceremony and festival including music and dance, celebrating and honoring the 250th birthday of Queen Ka`ahumanu. This event will include Native Hawaiian talent, including Sonny Lim (slack key & lap steel guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter) along with Nani and Lorna Lim with their respective hālau. Kihei Fourth Friday Town Party

Come to the south shore of Maui for Kihei’s 4th Friday Town Party, March 23 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Azeka Shopping Center Mauka, the “Heart and Soul” of Kihei. Aquari-OM Yoga

Humpback Whale Explore Station

Learn about Hawaii’s humpback whales with a marine naturalist at Maui Ocean Center! A special Explore
Station includes samples of what whales eat (krill and herring), baleen (feeding method), whale fluke identification, whale songs, and information about the anatomy and behaviors of humpback whales. Complimentary with Aquarium admission. Appropriate for all ages.

Ti Leaf Lei Demonstration

Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in February, March, and April

Visit Maui Ocean Center to learn the art, history, and cultural significance of lei making with a Cultural Practitioner. Includes a hands-on demonstration and a free lei for each participant. Complimentary with Aquarium admission. Appropriate for all ages.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to organizations that support Maui youth and working on a national level to end gun violence in schools.
