Third Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Ulupalakua

The community is invited to celebrate the holidays at the Third Annual Holiday Tree lighting on the historical grounds of MauiWine. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the holiday tree after sunset, followed by a movie under the stars (low-chairs and blankets are welcome). There will be plenty of activities for family and friends to enjoy, including live entertainment, holiday crafts for kids, Santa Claus’ arrival and photos, sparkling toasts and complimentary wine tastings inside the King’s Cottage. Warm beverages and holiday comfort food by Ulupalakua Ranch Store & Grill will be available for purchase. Admission is free with non-perishable food donation for the Maui Food Bank. Da Maui Sleigh
Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 3-6pm in the North-East parking lot, corner for Ka’ahumanu Avenue and Kane Street.
Da Maui Sleigh began as a father and son tradition over 16 years ago when James Presbitero saw a small sleigh pass by in his neighborhood and decided to recreate the vision on a larger scale. Created at his own expense and through unsolicited donations, Da Maui Sleigh is now an annual holiday tradition, visiting communities throughout Maui bringing joy and happiness to Maui’s keiki.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd and therefore the public is encouraged to bring hats and water while they wait for their ride. There are no reservations. Entry opens at 2:30pm, the first ride will commence at 3:00pm and the last ride is 6:00pm.
