In partnership with ʻOhana Maui Youth Foundation, the first-ever Carnival at the Cannery to be held from 10 am until 6 pm on the lawn area fronting Starbucks.  The public is invited to come out and enjoy some of Maui’s favorite food vendors including Aloha Braised, Sumo Dogs Maui, Grandpa Joe’s Candy Company, Dee’s Poi Mochi, Maui Snow Bowls, Al’s BBQ Pit and Cream B.  In addition to the wide array of food choices, entertainment will be provided by Maui Cheers All Stars, Maui Music Mission, Mahina Ah Sam and the Maui ʻUkulele Sisters.  Plus, a bouncy castle, fishing pond and raffle prizes will provide tons of fun for keiki and adults alike.

The second is the annual Kite Festival & Kite Flying Day hosted by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation, Wo Hing Society, and Maui Toy Works taking place from 10 am until 2 pm on the southern open space lawn. Hosted by The Lahaina Restoration Foundation, Wo Hing Society, and Maui Toy Works, the festival will kick off at 10 am when kids can design and build their own kite, and teens can make free-form kite structures.  Bring your own kite to fly and get tips from the pros throughout the day.  Plus, guests can watch as Maui’s own Kite Master, Robert Loera, performs a spectacular acrobatic sport kite air show.  Admission is free to all events.
