HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts Easter Egg Hunt
The hunts are on at HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center and HouseMart Ace Hardware at Pukalani Terrace Center and Azeka Shopping Center on Easter Sunday, March 27 at 12-1:30 p.m. Keiki ages 4-6 are invited to hunt from 12-12:30 p.m. and ages 7-9 will have their turn at 1-1:30 p.m. Please bring your own basket and come early to register. Space is limited.

6th Annual Makawao Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday Saturday, March 26th, 9am – 11am. Nothing will make you feel reborn like big gulps of crisp Upcountry air. This egg hunt is for keiki 10-years-old and younger, and is presented by the Makawao Community Association, Kaonoulu Ranch and Haleakala Ranch. Free. 8am sign-in (waivers required) / 9-11am egg hunt. Freddie’s becoming a teenager this year – and he’s celebrating in style! Join us for an Easter egg hunt at 11am sharp (bring your own basket), with cake and a piñata to follow. Meet Freddie, and make a donation to guess Freddie’s weight for a chance to win an awesome prize!
Our best-behaved shelter dogs will be cruising the event. Be sure to give them a good head scratch! You can also meet our adoptable cats in the cat ohana, and get to know the critters in our critter petting corner. In our free keiki zone, little ones can have their face painted, get a temporary henna tattoo, and enjoy coloring, crafts and other fun activities. Stick around for a live demonstration on our brand new agility course – and sign up for classes if you know your dog will love it!
Hungry? Make your own shave ice at the Kona Shave Ice truck, or enjoy a deliciously fresh brick oven pizza from Outrigger Pizza Truck – both will be available for purchase at the event. And don’t forget to pick up a Freddie T-shirt at the merchandise table – kid sizes are available too!

Makena Beach & Golf Resort celebrates Easter Sunday with food, family activities and the Easter bunny
On Sunday March 27, the Makena Beach & Golf Resort celebrates the Easter Holiday with an enhanced brunch menu complete with a daylong schedule of family friendly events, including an Easter Egg Hunt, animal balloon making, glitter tattoos and more. Makena’s popular Easter Sunday Brunch will be held at the Molokini Bar & Grille from 9:30 AM – 2 PM. The resort’s ever-popular Easter Egg Hunt, featuring over 3,000 eggs, will commence at 9 AM on the resort’s Pu’u Olai Lawn.
Makena’s Easter Sunday is an all-day family affair with the Easter Bunny in attendance for all the resort’s festivities. Starting at 9 AM, get the kids ready for an old fashion egg hunt on the resort’s Pu’u Olai lawn. With over 3,000 eggs, blow up toys and other goodies hidden in plain sight on the 24,300 sq. ft. lush lawn, kids of all ages will get an opportunity to search, collect and reap the rewards of Makena’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Easter celebration, with festivities for families between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 27.
The Easter brunch includes a keiki food station especially for kids. The day also includes an Easter worship from 7 to 8 a.m. at Hale Hema, a petting farm, Easter mascots, photos and crafts, face painting and live Hawaiian entertainment. There will be three different Easter egg hunts, organized by age group, for the first 100 registered brunch and hotel guests. Ages 3 to 5 start at 8:15 a.m., with ages 6 to 8 at 8:30 a.m. and ages 9 to 12 at 8:45 a.m. Registration happens at Hale Hema between 7 and 7:45 a.m.
The event costs $52.95 for adults and $28 for children ages 12 and under. Ages five and younger are free with a paying adult. There’s also special event pricing for parking at the hotel.
