Ocean Camp Winter Session • Grades 1–5

Campers learn about the ocean and Maui’s natural environment while building new skills and making new friends. Each day includes hands on science lessons, fun games and activities, creative arts and crafts, and nature based field trips.

Camp Kaluanui offers a diverse visual arts curriculum geared to exercise imaginations, keep the body active, and develop individual self-expression and creativity—while having fun at the same time! Campers paint, design, construct, sculpt, draw, and play their way through exciting artistic activities each day. Each day offers hands-on projects and a variety of art materials to explore!

Amazing Adaptations
Ages 6–11
December 30, 2019 – January 3, 2020
Hawai‘i Nature Center offers a week-long camp during school break that explores and celebrates the amazing adaptability of nature and animals. Keiki will learn about native fish that can climb waterfalls, the ground-nesting pueo, the mighty silversword’s unique sun deflecting qualities and so much more. 808 Gymnastics Camp is open to children ages four and up. No prior gymnastics experience is necessary, and beginners are welcome! We offer craft days on Tuesdays & Thursdays and water play on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after lunch.

Winter Intersession
Whether it’s through singing or acting out skits, playing soccer or swimming; counselors at the day camp programs have led kids in developing good values and having fun for more than 45 years.  Kids have fun while they learn how to make new friends, build new skills, and grow self-confidence.

Specialty Camps:
1) Archery Camp
8 years – 13 years
Who wants to learn how to shoot a bull’s-eye?  Learn the art of this great Olympic sport.
2) Cooking Camp
8 years – 13 years
Learn the basic fundamentals of cooking.
3) Swim Camp
4 years – 13 years
Campers will be in the pool at least 1.5 hours a day participating in a variety of aquatic activities.

Paintbox Adventures for Children
Children will enjoy a blend of exploration and creativity as they experience Paintbox at Montage Kapalua Bay. Paintbox welcomes all children ages 5 to 12 and offers daily half-day and full-day sessions. Night programs are available on Thursdays and Fridays. Meals are provided for full day and night programs.
