Mixtures, Molds, & Magic: Handmade Paper!:

Learn the history of paper while creating your very own handmade paper from surprising materials!
Fractals & Flowers:

Create beautiful hanging flower decorations using one of the greatest and most under-appreciated craft tools: the toilet paper tube!
Not Your Average Easter Eggs!:

Parents and children will explore fun, new techniques to turn eggs into beautiful, tiny, and tasty works of art.
Keeping it Simple: DIY Art Supplies!:

After learning the stories and talking about the illustrations, we will explore imagery by painting with tempera and watercolors, sculpting with clay, and drawing with colored pencils, markers, and oil pastels. FREE – Preregistration is required! Limit of one session per child. Supply Fee: $10

Using materials such as pastels, clay, paint, and paper that stimulate creative impulses and fuel artistry, children (and an accompanying guardian) will learn creative processes that little hands can manage with help. There will be music, stories, and lots of fun for all!

Cups, plates, bowls, tiles, and more! In this introductory ceramics class, students will create their own functional art as they explore the handling of clay using wheel throwing, handbuilding, glazing, and texturing techniques. Students will enjoy this tactile and fun art form!
Jewelry Design for Young Adults

Become your own jewelry designer! Students in this class will learn the foundational elements of metalsmithing: cutting, drilling, piercing, and soldering metal. Projects include pendants, bracelets, earrings and/or rings. You’ll finish class with beautiful jewelry creations of your own design! Brass metal will be included with the supply fee and sterling silver will be available for purchase. No previous jewelry class is required!
Rhythm of the Ocean! — Mixed Media Art Inspired by the Sea

Keiki will paint, draw, and create 3D works of art inspired by the ocean, surfing, sea creatures, and island life. With positive encouragement and guidance from Teaching Artist Brett Summerlee, students will enjoy this engaging afterschool activity!
