Families will work together to create holiday-inspired works of art, such as mugs and ornaments, which add a festive touch to your home or make great gifts for loved ones. Cost is $20 per person and includes pizza, water, art supplies, and instruction. Preregistration required.

Using materials such as pastels, clay, paint, and paper that stimulate creative impulses and fuel artistry, children will learn creative processes that little hands can manage with help. There will be music, stories, and lots of fun for all!

Preschool Story Arts

Age: 2.5 – 5

Spend some creative time with your little one as you work together to create artwork inspired by children’s books. After learning the stories and talking about the illustrations, we will explore other imagery by painting with tempera and watercolors, sculpting with air-dry clay, and drawing with colored pencils, markers, and oil pastels.

Claymazing: Pinch, Coil and Roll!

Give your young artist the opportunity to let his/her imagination soar! Children will pinch, coil, and roll as they explore the properties of clay and make all sorts of unique clay pieces. Working in clay helps children refine motor skills and develop their creative thinking & it’s a ton of fun!

Wire-wrapping: Jewelry & Beyond! 

Saturdays, 2 weeks 

November 22 & 29

Age: 8+

Students will learn basic wire-wrapping skills using fingers and pliers to create their very own pendants, figurines, picture frames, and much more! Wire-wrapping is an inexpensive hobby, perfect for making unique gifts—just in time for the holiday season. Bring along your favorite shells, sea glass, or other found objects.

Become your own jewelry designer! Students in this class will learn the foundational elements of metalsmithing: cutting, drilling, piercing, and soldering metal. Projects include pendants, bracelets, earrings and/or rings. You’ll finish class with the beautiful jewelry creations of your own design!
