Girl Power Yoga
Yoga classes for girls ages 8-12
In this fun yoga basics class, girls will develop
strength, balance, exibility and greater body
awareness through the practice of classical hatha
yoga postures. In a supportive and non-competitive
environment, we will explore the themes of kindness,
courage, honesty, perseverance and condence
through stories, discussion and asanas (poses). The
girls will learn to quiet their minds and use the breath
to promote focus and ease. And nally—they will
learn to take the benets of the practice o the mat
and into their daily lives.
