Yeehaw! The Carden Jamboree is back and will be held on November 4th, 20232. Grab your partners and bring them upcountry for a  night of barbecue, entertainment, and cowboy couture at the Carden Campus in Pukalani. The Carden Jamboree will benefit Carden’s academic and enrichment programs and support tuition assistance for students. This paniolo-themed fundraiser will include live and silent auctions, live music, dancing, a no-host bar, and a fabulous barbecue dinner. The fun continues with a pie baking contest, carnival games, and more.

We’re back! The Kula School Harvest Festival is back and will be held on November 18, 2023. Alexander Academy Performing Company presents the holiday tradition, The Nutcracker. This full-length ballet features the beloved music by Peter Ilych Tchaikovsky, with artistic directors Absalon Figueroa and Amelia Nelson.  Costumes by Jennifer Oberg and her Sewing Hui and Alexander Academy. Two shows Saturday December 16th at Castle Theater. Toy Drive: In honor of the families affected by the Maui wildfires, Alexander Academy is hosting a Toy Drive fundraiser. Help spread holiday magic by donating new or gently used toys. Toy donations accepted at Alexander Academy or at the MACC, inside the front gate drop-off tables during performances on December 16th.

Directed by Kathleen McKeon with her team of talented choreographers–Katie Higuchi, Camille Romero, Jackie Dowsett, Kathleen Schulz, and Ali Pineo–this year’s production features a unique storyline written by theater expert Camille Romero and costumed by the illustrious Kathleen Schulz. The collaboration between Maui Onstage and Momentum Dance Maui will give audiences the best of theater and dance. Come and enjoy this cast of 60 multi-talented actors and dancers at the Historic Iao Theater. You will leave the theater with a warm holiday memory.
