Stomp Out Hunger 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk

On Saturday, Oct 19th Hale Kau Kau will hold the 4th Annual Stomp out Hunger event for all ages. The race and walk start at 8am at 25 Lipoa Street in Kihei. All ages are welcome to walk or run. For the 5k, there will be 5 year age groups from 10-100. In addition companies can enter a male and/or female team to compete for the Corporate Cup. All participants will receive a t shirt, prizes and a breakfast hosted by Hale Kau kau. The proceeds of this event go to Hale Kau Kau, the program that feeds those who are hungry each and every day of the year. Hale Kau Kau delivers food to the homebound elderly in South Maui, as well as to the Family Life Center in Kahului and the homeless shelter in Lahaina. In addition to delivering these meals, Hale kau Kau a volunteer driven progam serves a hot meal every evening from the kitchen on 25 Lipoa St Kihei. Anyone who comes to the kitchen between 5-6pm on Weekdays or 4:30 -5:30 on weekends will receive a meal. NO Questions asked!
Cost of the event is $30 early registration, with discounts for seniors over 65-$25 and youth under 19-$20 all proceeds go to Hale Kau Kau. a 501c3 charity.
