Sensory-Friendly Saturday at Maui Ocean Center

Maui Ocean Center is hosting a FREE sensory-friendly evening in partnership with Maui Hope on Saturday, April 30, from 4:30 PM to 6 PM to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month. This event is open to persons of all ages throughout Maui Nui with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other Developmental Disabilities. Up to 5 family members are welcome to join in on the fun free of charge. Maui Ocean Center is excited to present this opportunity to explore the wonder of Hawaiʻi’s diverse marine life in a relaxed environment free of excessive stimuli. The lights will be dimmed, the music will be turned down, and the park will remain open after-hours to provide an accessible community opportunity to explore Maui Ocean Center at whichever pace feels right.
