The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of West Maui invites you to join us on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Lahaina Recreational Center Multipurpose Field #8. Funds raised from our relay support cancer research, education and prevention efforts, and free programs and services for people facing cancer in our community.
Last year, we opened the Clarence T. Ching Hope Lodge Hawai‛i, where free accommodation is available for cancer patients from Maui who have to fly in for treatment in Honolulu. Since last November, Hope Lodge Hawai‛i provided over 1,500 nights of free lodging and saved $218,000 in potential costs.
The Relay for Life movement presents an opportunity to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action in the fight against cancer.
