Lā ʻUlu (Breadfruit Day)

Enjoy foods using ʻulu (breadfruit) for purchase to eat and to take home from Hawaiʻi farmers and chefs, including smaller portions under $9 to encourage sampling. Chefs from the UHMC Culinary Arts Program will demonstrate their recipes using ʻulu throughout the day, including free tastings. The event also features tree care presentations, free hands-on cultural activities, local artisans and nonprofits, and live Hawaiian entertainment.
