EAST MEETS WEST FESTIVAL OF MUSIC & DANCE

Arts Education for Children Group presents East Meets West Festival to encourage cross-cultural dance and music collaborations for Maui’s students.
Free jazz music clinics take place May 23, 24, 25 at King Kekaulike High School. Cultural Dance workshops take place on Sat, May 27 between 9am – 5pm at the MACC’s Omori Studio. $5 donation per student, per class
Enjoy an exciting lineup of professional jazz fusion and international dance artists on Fri, May 26 & Sat, May 27 at 6:30 pm in Iao Theater:
Na Alii Big Band & June Skies Jazz Combo from King Kekaulike High School, Chop Suey Jazz Orchestra from Maui and Ictus Jazz Band from Spokane.
Dancers include Billy Chang of Taiwan, Tara Pandeya of U.S., Sarala Dandekar, Akari Ueoka and Jazmyne Geis of Maui; Angel Prince and Toni Pasion of Hawaii. Tickets are $15 and $25 ($2 off for students)
