Let’s take the mystery out of homeschool!

Thinking about homeschooling? Want to explore homeschooling as an option in the early years? At the preschool level? At the kindergarten level? Are you a parent who wants to do more with their 2, 3, & or 4 year old at home? Not sure where to begin? This workshop is filled with specific examples just for you!

Have an older child? Some of the same principles apply! We’ll discuss curriculum choices, scheduling, what a typical homeschool day looks like, etc. While the examples are tailored to parents with children in the early learning years, there are insights for any family just starting out or those who want to get more serious about researching what a homeschool journey looks like.

* Homeschooling with younger siblings

The cost: $30/family
Why $30? This small fee helps pay for the space to host these informative workshops and cover printed materials. I bring thousands of dollars worth of curricula and materials to share with you all in the hope that it inspires and informs you at the start of your homeschool journey! This small fee helps me cover needs on my end so I can help you on your end! Mahalo!

We’ll also go over planning with a step-by-step demonstration of how our ohana plans our days and weeks using an actual curriculum and planner. (I’m going to bring my actual curriculum, planner, notes, and files to show you!) This will include:

* Samples of what our homeschool day looks like
* Samples of what our homeschool week looks like
* What we do when we “miss” days or get off schedule
* How we remain flexible, work, socialize, and still have time for school

(Please note that the sample curriculum provided will be Preschool level. This workshop is intended for anyone who is thinking about homeschooling, wondering about homeschooling in the early years, or parents who simply want to know how they can incorporate more educational activities at home with their children. Much of this information is universal & can be applied to older years as well. Families of older children are welcome!)

The workshop will be 1.5-2 hours long consisting of a presentation followed by a Q&A session. Space is limited!
