Winter Break Camp • Ages 3–15
December 24–January 4 • 9:00am–3:00pm
Kids learn about ponies, grooming, saddling, washing, decorating, as well as leading them and learning to ride. We play games, do artwork and just have fun! Pack a lunch we do the rest. Kids ride 2 to 3 times a day in an open arena. Limited space so each child has their own pony for the day.

Ocean Camp provides a fun way for children to learn about the oceans and Maui’s natural environment. Each week has an ocean-related theme. Each day includes fun games and activities, hands-on science lessons, field trips, and arts and crafts.

Camp Kaluanui offers a diverse visual arts curriculum geared to exercise imaginations, keep the body active, and develop individual self-expression and creativity—while having fun at the same time! Campers paint, design, construct, sculpt, draw, and play their way through exciting artistic activities each day. Each day offers hands-on projects and a variety of art materials to explore!

Teen & Tweens Art Academy • Ages 11+
Wednesday–Friday • 9:00am–3:30pm
Session 1: December 26–28, 3 days

Each day, young artists will experience two workshops taught by the Hui’s inspiring Teaching Artists. Weekly sessions include an assortment of classes, which include jewelry & metalsmithing. Other classes may include Hawaiian arts, painting, drawing, silkscreen, printmaking, and ceramics.

Winter Intersession
Whether it’s through singing or acting out skits, playing soccer or swimming; counselors at the day camp programs have led kids in developing good values and having fun for more than 45 years.  Kids have fun while they learn how to make new friends, build new skills, and grow self-confidence. When not in their Specialty Camps, campers will be participating in the Camp Moana program schedule.

Specialty Camps
Swim Camp • Ages 4–13
Campers can take care of their swim lessons while being at camp. Campers will be in the pool at least 11/2 hours a day with our certified instructors.

Archery Camp • Ages 8–13 • 9:00am–11:00am
Who wants to learn how to shoot a bull’s-eye?  Learn the art of this great Olympic sport.

Basketball Camp • Ages 4–13 • 8:30am–10:30am
Shoot and play like a pro! Campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball through fun games and drills. Camp will be divided by age.

Baking Camp • Ages 8–13
Learn the basics–how to prep, measure, and bake.

Songwriting Camp • Ages 8–13

Do you love making your own music? Come explore your creativity at Kupono Music Studio. Students work together & individually through creative exercises to write songs. A variety of approaches are explored since songwriting happens through many different modes. No experience necessary. Students should bring their voice & if they already play, an uke or guitar. Keyboards will also be available. Cost: $100

Piano Camp • Ages 8–13

Spend a fun-filled week learning the piano! This camp lets students explore their creativity & discover the beauty of the piano. Students learn keyboard geography, finger numbers & will play many well-known songs. No experience required, performance on the last day. Cost: $100

Violin Boot Camp • Ages 8–13
Dec. 31–Jan. 4 • Mon.–Fri. • 1:00pm–2:00pm
Come join us to explore the splendor of the violin! This fun-filled introduction to the violin gives students hands-on experience through engaging activities & songs. All violins provided, no experience necessary, performance on the last day. Best value camp on Maui. Come have fun! Cost: $50

Adult Guitar Boot Camp • Ages 18+

Here’s a chance for grown-ups to live their musical dreams! Adult Guitar Boot Camp is a 3-day class that lets adults explore the guitar. Learn about tuning, strumming & picking, & try a simple song or two. Come ignite your passion for music. This extremely affordable camp is just 5 hours over 3 days. Bring your own guitar & come join us for fun! Cost: $50
