$20 suggested donation gratefully accepted. All donations benefit Whale Trust, Hawaii Whale Research Foundation, and Center for Whale Studies.

PRESENTERS

DOUG PERRINE, Keynote Speaker

Doug Perrine is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost marine wildlife photographers. His photography has won a number of awards, including the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition as the overall winner (2004), and also winner of the animal behavior category and the Nature’s Best/Cemex competition in the Professional Marine Wildlife category. He is also the author of seven books on marine life and numerous magazine articles.

JIM DARLING, Ph.D.

Co-founder of Whale Trust, and a leading authority in gray whale and humpback behavior.

MEAGAN JONES, Ph.D.

Executive Director and Co-founder of Whale Trust. Meagan’s research focuses on the social and reproductive behavior of female humpback whales.

ED LYMAN, M.Sc.

Marine Mammal Response Manager for the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary.

FLIP NICKLIN

Co-founder of Whale Trust, and world-renowned underwater photographer, who has spent his 30-year career specializing in the photography of marine mammals.
