Halloween weekend is finally here!
Halloween at Home
For those that want to spend the holiday at home, there are many ways to make the weekend special for your keiki: Carve or paint pumpkins together. Hide candy and provide clues for a Halloween Scavenger Hunt. Have a slumber party in the living room and watch Halloween-themed movies. Fill a Halloween pinata for an explosion of treats. Arrange for a virtual costume party with friends. Halloween is a great excuse to be creative and spend time with loved ones.
Below we share the various drive-through events being thoughtfully produced by the community this weekend.
Halloween Drive-Boo
The County of Maui is partnering with a number of community groups and organizations to create safe, alternative Halloween activities for keiki and families to enjoy on Saturday, Oct. 31. Read more here.
Seabury Hall-Oween
Friday, Oct 30th from 630pm:9pm
Seabury Hall • Enter from 480 Olinda Road
Admission is a cash or food donation to the Maui Food Bank.
Seabury Hall-Oween is a family-friendly spooky drive-through event. As vehicles creep oh so slowly and wind through campus, families will be welcomed by a bunch of wild googly-eyed minions and a coven of spell chanting witches, be entertained by the talented Thriller Dancers, and the chilling sounds of a frightful collection of drummers. Best of all, passengers on this spooky car ride will be spellbound by the musical wailing of Seabury Hall spirits at a haunted Cooper House. Look for all of your favorite costumed actors as our students create a fun adventure for all. There will be lots of surprises, including family safe candy chutes designed and built by engineering classes that will serve up fun for the trick-or-treaters in the cars! seeburyhall.org
