Aloha Friday! After a full week of remote learning, we are sure parents are welcoming this weekend like no other. Power down those computers and try some of these ideas.

1. Go on a picnic.

Maui is not short on spectacular views and idyllic spots for eating el fresco. Pack up your cooler or do take out from a local restaurant and enjoy a meal at a nearby grassy knoll or stick to your favorite beach,

2. Release the wiggles.

If your child had a hard time sitting for remote learning, we feel you! Free them from the chair and give them time to jump at Ultimate Air Maui. They have limited capacity, so make sure you reserve your passes online at ultimateairmaui.com

3. Take the scenic route.

Get out of town and explore another part of the island. With fewer crowds come less traffic and a chance to enjoy the island with some peace.

4.Drive-in for a movie

On Saturday, August 28th, Mulligans will be hosting their weekly drive-in with Shrek 2. Food available to order and doors open at 630pm. Buy tickets or get more info here.

5. Make a nature mandala.

If your kid had a hard time using their computers this week, let them make something with their hands. Whether you’re enjoying a day at the beach or taking a hike in the forest, collect rocks, leaves, shells, seeds, and more to create a nature mandala. The kids will love the hunt for materials and they are easy to make at any age, including yours!
