SeaWees: Dive into the A, B, Seas
September 25 to October 23SeaWees Image

SeaWees is an educational program for children ages 3-5 and their parents/caregivers offered through Pacific Whale Foundation. It features developmentally appropriate early-childhood practice including music/movement, demonstrations and guided exploration delivered in a child-centered environment.

During our session from September 25 to October 23, we’ll use the alphabet as a framework for learning about the ocean. We’ll explore concepts such as similar and different while observing and investigating the biodiversity of the ocean. Over the course of the session children will create their own A-B-Seas Book and will also enjoy a field trip to Maui Ocean Center.

Please note that each child must be accompanied to SeaWees by a parent or caregiver. SeaWeesmeets on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Pacific Whale Foundation’s Discovery Center overlooking Ma’alaea Harbor unless otherwise noted. The cost of a 4-week session is $60 for Pacific Whale Foundation Members, and $70 for non-members. A second child in the same family is 50% off.

The four week session of “Dive into the A, B, Seas” includes the following:
