Getting out the door in the morning can be simplified with these on-the-go breakfast ideas!

Smoothies: Make your own freezer smoothie packs ahead of time by chopping and combining your favorite fruits and/or veggies, and storing them in freezer bags. In the morning, simply add your choice of liquid to the blender (milk, water, coconut water, yogurt, etc.), then put the pre-made frozen smoothie contents into the blender. Blend. Voila!

DIY Freezer Pancakes: Make pancakes, and allow them to cool completely on a cooling rack. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the pancakes on the parchment paper without letting their edges touch. After the sheet is filled, add another sheet of parchment paper and fill another layer of pancakes. Repeat. Place the baking sheet with pancakes in the freezer, and freeze until the pancakes are firm. Remove the baking sheet from the freezer and place the pancakes in a freezer bag. Write the date on the bag. Store them in the freezer and use within two months. To reheat, simply remove a few pancakes from the freezer bag and microwave them for approximately one minute.

Make Ahead Breakfast Burritos: Cook eggs and bacon. Place them in tortillas along with cheese, sautéed bell peppers, onions and refried beans. Simply roll up the tortilla with the ingredients into a burrito. Wrap each burrito in parchment paper, then store them in a gallon-size freezer bag. To reheat, place the burrito in the microwave for approximately one minute and twenty seconds.
