Join the Japanese Cultural Society of Maui’s annual Maui Matsuri festival, a cultural experience that is both educationalMM and fun for children and families.

The festival will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the University of Hawaii Maui College Campus, 310 Ka’ahumanu Avenue,Kahului, HI.

The festival will be featuring: Japanese and Okinawan cultural entertainment, food and craft booths, demonstrations and exhibits, Kodomo (Children’s) Corner and cultural exhibits with cultural crafts for kids, manga and art contest for children in the 3rd through 12th grades, cosplay costume contest, kendama game tournament, hanafuda/sakura contest, eating contests, and obon dancing.
