The Shops at Wailea kicks off the holiday season on Black Friday with Santa’s Parade, which progresses from Kalama Park in Kihei to The Shops at Wailea, starting at 9:30am. Santa will ride in style in a 1968 Chevy Convertible Camaro escorted by the Maui Classic Cruisers and Street Bikers United Maui.
Live entertainment on Black Friday includes a holiday hula show featuring dancers from Manutea Nui E at 10am.

Don’t miss Fairmont Kea Lani’s annual Tree of Hope Celebration! Adorn the hotel’s Tree of Hope with donations of $10, $25 or $50 to benefit Maui Food Bank’s Aloha Backpack Buddies program. This local program provides over 12,000 elementary school children a pre-filled backpack each week containing six meals for the weekend. The backpacks are given to local children from low income families living at or below poverty level. As part of the celebration, one of the largest Christmas tree in the state of Hawai’i will also be lit and guests will enjoy traditional Hawaiian entertainment, hula dancers and holiday treats. The free event is open to all!

Along with FREE photos with Santa our guests can enjoy keiki activities and live holiday entertainment. On Fridays and Saturdays the public is invited to join Santa in unit A-6, located near Regal Cinemas to enjoy FREE photos when they bring a canned good as a donation to the Maui Food Bank. Bins for all donations at the entryway. Maui High School will be operating the photo booth for instant pictures to take home. Also on Fridays starting at 6pm, guests can enjoy a variety of live, local entertainment on Center Stage. On Saturdays, from 12-4pm, keiki activities will include Lego® ornament building with Brickhaus Designs. Families and keiki will be able to create their very own Lego® ornament and take it home to hang on their tree for the cost of just $5.00. Keiki will also be able to assist in building a special Lego® mosaic for Maui Mall at no cost. Everyone is invited to attend these holiday events. ‘Tis the Season to be Giving at Maui Mall!

“With over 6500 sparkling lights, The Banyan Tree Lighting event officially kicks off the holiday season for our Westside Community,” stated Snehal Patel, President of The LahainaTown Action Committee. The Maui Made Holiday Gift Fair will kick off at 9am in Campbell Park and Santa will arrive at the North Pole around 2pm. Children are invited to take a free photo with Santa between 2pm-4pm. Keiki activities will be available at Campbell Park from 12-4pm. Lastly, Lahainaluna High School Band will perform 5:45pm – 6:45pm at Banyan Tree Park.
