Santa Arrives on Maui

Santa’s favorite place to visit is Maui, and this year he arrives on Saturday, November 17 to greet all of the keiki on Maui! Queen Ka’ahumanu Center will host a special celebration in honor of jolly St. Nick from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. on November 17. The celebration will feature dancing elves and ornament making. A special mailbox will be available on Santa’s set, where you can drop off a letter for Santa that will be answered right away!

On Saturday, December 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., all are invited for gingerbread cookie decorating. And while you’re decorating cookies, Santa will stop by to hear your wishes.

Do you have pets that love Santa too? St. Nick Pet Pics will take place on Mondays, December 3 and 10.

25th Annual Kula School Harvest Festival

A Kula family tradition for the past 25 years, the Kula School Harvest Festival is a wonderful family event with activities and attractions for all ages!

Enjoy games, prizes, bouncing castles, and lots of ono food and entertainment throughout the day. The ever-popular Kula Harvest Festival Silent Auction will once again showcase uniquely themed gift baskets, gift certificates, hand-made gift items and much more.

Be certain to visit the Country Store, where you’ll find fresh hand-picked Kula produce, beautiful bunches of flowers, floral arrangements, cookies, cakes and many other delights. The Crafters Row will feature handmade wares by talented local artisans and unique holiday gift ideas, just in time for Christmas!

Monies raised at the Kula School Harvest Festival will support enrichment programs for Kula school keiki. Admission is free.

St. Joseph Christmas Craft Fair

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Makawao. St. Joseph Parish and Early Learning Center invites you to a pre-season shopping extravaganza. Local venders and crafters will have amazing items available for the gift giving season. As an extra treat, Santa will be landing his sled for a visit at noon for the children and children at heart.

An array of ethnic foods will be available for sampling, such as Portuguese bean soup, malasadas, pork adobo, spam musubi, pancit and so much more. The highly anticipated baked goods, St. Joseph Parish cookbook, and Heavenly Blend Coffee by Maui Roasters will be ready for pick up.

Start the holiday season early this year. Join in the celebration on Saturday, November 17th from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Parish Gym.
