Finding ways to lower our ecological footprint, while supporting other Maui mamas and their babes is a great feeling! So come join us at our Intentions for magickal mamas and their precious babes (MMPB) give and take events being held island wide.

If you have any of the items listed below laying around that you no longer need and would like to pass on to another family this is an opportunity to give what you can and take what you need in the following categories:
maternity, birthing, postpartum, nursing and baby feeding, sleep, diapering and playtime
All items must be in complete, clean, working condition. Please no electronic or battery operated toys, no baby or children’s clothing and no perishables.
The August 12th Give and Take event will be held at the 4th Marine Division Memorial Park (Giggle Hill) in Haiku near the play structure so bring the keiki for some snacks and some fun as well.

Kite Festival

The public is invited to the second annual Kite Festival hosted by the Japanese Cultural Society of Maui on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Keopuolani Park Field #8, located right below the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.

August 12th Huliau Food & Film Festival

5th annual farm-to-table celebration of local agriculture featuring local chefs and student-produced films! This year’s event will feature additional chef-run farm-to-table stations and an expanded silent auction with mobile bidding. Guests will enjoy live music by Keith Ranney, Bentley Kalaway and Joel Katz and a food-themed student film contest. All funds raised will benefit the expansion of Maui Huliau Foundation’s environmental education programs for Maui youth in the 2017-18 school year.
