The young child takes the world in through his or her senses; they are creators, explorers, imitators and easily live into joy, wonder, and play. The curriculum we offer supports the developing capacities of the young child through nourishment of the senses via a rich use of oral language, kinesthetic activities, art, music, gardening, baking, imaginative play, free play, and puppetry. All of these activities are engaged in through play, song, verse, rhyme and imitation of teachers who are worthy of imitation and who hold the children in the highest regard.
The classrooms and play yard of this home based program have been built by hand and are furnished with toys made from natural materials and fabrics. Children are provided with a family style meal of organic healthy foods that they assist in the preparation of.
