South Shore Screams Haunted House at Azeka

October 26th to 31st

Azeka Shopping Center’s annual South Shore Screams Haunted House will be frightening locals and visitors October 26th, 27th, 28th, 30th and 31st. Doors open at 5 PM and will stay open until everyone is scared out. If you are brave enough to make it through this killer Haunted House put on your most creative costume and come join us. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to support the Pacific Cancer Foundation Children Fund. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Azeka Management Office or $5 at the door (cash only).

ProArts Zombie Experience at ProArts Playhouse, October 26th 5 – 7 PM, October 27th 5 – 6:30 PM and October 28th 3 – 6 PM. The Zombie Experience will include zombie makeup, ‘Thriller’ dance lessons and a chance to be filmed on the ‘Thriller’ set. On Friday night the Zombie experience will be followed by a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show at 8 PM.

Riding with Aloha Halloween with Horses

October 28th, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Put on your costume and come spend the morning decorating, playing, riding horses, and of course, trick or treating! Riding With Aloha welcomes kids (and adults) of all ages to come get in the Halloween spirit at the barn. The morning will start with decorating horses in Halloween costumes. At 10am we will start trick or treat rides which include just that- trick or treating on a horse! Riders will be lead around a path where they will get goodies for both themselves and their horse companion. There will be lots of games on foot and of course, a costume contest; for both horses and people of course.

People of all ages are welcome to come ride! It’s $2 a person or $5 per family to participate in the trick or treat ride. All other activities are free! 2nd Annual Keiki Halloween at The Shops

The Shops of Wailea on Sunday, October 28 from 3-6pm.

Families, their children, and even pets can participate in a fun-filled costume contest for a chance to win prizes.
Registration for the Keiki Halloween at The Shops costume contest begins at 3pm for the following categories:

The costume contest starts at 4pm, ending with judges announcing the winners and awarding the prizes at 5:30pm. Following the contest, children and their families are invited to stroll The Shops for a special trick-or-treat experience at 6pm.

QUEEN KA’AHUMANU CENTER’S HALLOWEEN SPOOK-TACULAR

A FAMILY-FUN TRADITION

Wednesday, October 31, 2018, from 5-7pm

QKC will welcome store-to-store trick-or-treating by those 12 years of age and younger. Participating stores will be designated with an orange balloon, and the mall’s Guest Services Center adjacent to center court will offer a non-food alternative in support of the Teal Pumpkin Project, a national campaign to promote the inclusion of all trick-or-treaters, including those with food allergies.

Separately, Maui Friends of the Library will offer one free children’s book per child for those who trick-or-treat at its Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center location.  All giveaways are while supplies last.  For the safety of our community, no masks by those 13 years of age and older, and no sharp costume props permitted.

The Center Court will feature Halloween entertainment including a DJ, keiki costume contest with prizes, keiki costume parade, face painting, magic, special meet and greet with princesses and superheroes and spook-tacular door prizes.

“Trick or treating at QKC is an annual tradition, and this Halloween will be no different!”, says Toni Rojas, Vice President of Business & Community Development. “We can’t wait to see all the creative costumes, so come on down and celebrate with us, or as we say here,  stop by for a spell and party like a mon-star!”, says Rojas.

Halloween Cannery Kid’s Night returns on October 31st

Maui’s favorite FREE family haunt returns to Lahaina Cannery.
Lahaina Cannery will once again provide a safe, air-conditioned place for families to enjoy Halloween magic, trick-or-treating, face painting, balloon twisting, games, and its famous Keiki Costume Contest on Wednesday, October 31st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Join us at Center Stage as local favorite Holden Mowat performs spellbinding family magic at 5 p.m. followed by Lahaina Cannery’s legendary Keiki Costume Contest at 6 p.m.  More than a dozen great prizes from Maui Toy Works and Hawaiian Island Creations will be awarded in four age groups: 0-2, 3-4, 5-8, and 9-12 years old, and this year, an exciting new category has been added for family or group costumes.

Also new this year is the Spooktacular Jack-o’-Lantern Decorating Contest!  The contest is open to all ages, and participants can win cash prizes by dropping off a pre-decorated pumpkin at the Halloween Registration table between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Halloween night.  Pumpkins must be fully carved and decorated prior to submission.  Winners will be announced following the Keiki Costume Contest.

Keiki Parade on Front Street

Tuesday, October 31st at 4:30 p.m. 

Maui keiki are invited to come in costume and parade down Front Street and across the stage at Banyan Tree Park where all keiki receive a congratulatory ribbon and bag of treats. The parade begins at 4:30 PM HST.

The festivities continue with live music in Campbell Park, where you will also be able to purchase the annual Official Halloween in Lahaina T-shirt. Food vendors, face painters and keiki games await in Campbell Park for your enjoyment. More details can be found here.
