EMERGENCY CHILDCARE: Kama‘aina Kids is offering

EMERGENCY CHILDCARE: Kama‘aina Kids is offering free emergency childcare services at the Kama‘aina Kids Maui Evangelical Preschool located at 256 Hina Ave, Kahului, HI 96732, for children aged 2 to 5 from 9 AM to 3 PM daily, effective Thursday 8/17/2023. This initiative aims to assist families directly impacted by the fire and to provide essential support for emergency workers who are tirelessly serving the community.

Kama‘aina Kids Maui Evangelical (Hina) Preschool can be reached at 808-877-6604.

Project Camp, in partnership with Kama‘aina Kids and Maui Family YMCA, is also offering a day camp at the Maui Family YMCA in Kahului from 9 AM to 3 PM for kids 6-16 affected by the Maui fires. The program is free and includes lunch. Information can be found at Projectcamp.co/camps.

Today is a week from the start of the tragic fires and we can't let the momentum for help end. Many of our readers have asked how they can help. We started this fundraiser with the @mauifoodbank and we hope you can support it. Any amount is appreciated.

DID YOU KNOW the Maui Food Bank services 140 organizations on Maui, including the food kitchens making hot meals for survivors/volunteers, food drops directly into West Maui, and community-led rapid response organizations.

Please share this with anyone that has been looking for a legitimate organization with boots on the ground.
