Kula Hospital hosts first Upcountry Maui Healthcare Career Fair

Kula Hospital is excited to host its inaugural Upcountry Healthcare Career Fair on Wednesday, July 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the hospital grounds in Keokea, Kula. This event offers upcountry residents the opportunity to explore healthcare careers close to home and contribute to their community.

Kula Hospital is hiring for several positions, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), long-term care nurses, kitchen helpers, ward clerks, housekeeping aides, and more. While the focus is on recruiting for Kula Hospital, attendees can also explore opportunities at Maui Health’s other five facilities on Maui and Lanai.

Hosted in Kula Hospital’s first-floor conference room, attendees will receive personalized guidance and be matched with roles based on their skills, experience, and career goals. Qualified, pre-screened applicants will have the chance to interview with hiring managers and department leaders on the same day, with the possibility of on-the-spot job offers.

Additionally, attendees can learn more about Kula Hospital’s paid Nurse Aide Certification Training program. This five-week course provides classroom education and hands-on clinical training, with participants paid throughout and guaranteed a full-time position at Kula Hospital once certified. Ideal for those starting a healthcare career or recent high school graduates, no prior experience is required. Applicants must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.

To qualify for a same-day interview, applicants must apply online by July 25 and email MHS-Recruitment-Svcs@kp.org to schedule an interview time slot. Those needing help with applications can visit Maui Health’s Human Resources Office every Wednesday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, located above the Maui Memorial Medical Center Emergency Department in HR Cottage #22.
