|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on April 4, 2017 at 7:00 pm

Dr. Daniel Henderson will conduct a jazz improvisation clinic on April 2nd at King Kekaulike High School, and perform in concert with students on April 4th at Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Admission to both events is free.

The educational component is supported by Jazz Maui through a grant from World Music Ventures. It is the mission of Jazz Maui to assist schools to create opportunities for their thriving musicians to learn and play with guest musicians and performers from around the world.

We are greatly appreciative of the generous donation from Mr. Don Bowen and Mr. Bryan Taylor of World Music Ventures; the grant is giving life to this clinic, and learning to Maui’s student musicians. Mahalo, worldwidemusicventures.com!
