Hurricanes at Home!

The Hawaii State Public Library System is partnering with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide free weather-related webinars for all ages.

A panel of meteorologists from NOAA’s National Weather Service will take you through the science of hurricanes, how and where they are forecast, the hazards associated with them, and how to stay prepared. They will also share the 2021 Central Pacific Hurricane Season outlook, explaining what we might expect this year. Registration is required for this 30-minute virtual event.
