Students ages 6-10 will learn dance skills in jazz, ballet, hip hop, stage presence, memorization, flexibility, coordination and teamwork. The camp taught by Rebecca Owen will culminate in a fun-filled theatrical performance for family and friends on the final day. Tuition is $140. No previous experience is necessary. A truly dynamic experience, Camp Kaluanui sparks creativity, engagement, discovery and self-expression in a fun environment offering fresh air and room to explore. Programs are developed to offer each camper a unique experience that nurtures their individual creative spirit. Activities include mixed media, printmaking, painting, 3D arts, hand-built ceramics, and playtime.

Winter Baseball Camp

Join Major League Pitcher Kanekoa Texeira, the academy’s staff and local and visiting youth ages 7 to 12 to prepare for the spring with the Academy’s winter baseball camps at the St. Anthony HS in Wailuku.

Learn new tips and tricks and get the swings and throws to get your timing on track for the new season. Analyze your batting and pitching mechanics with HD video system. Learn strategies, mental preparation techniques, goal setting and most of all, increase confidence.  Our camps are a great way for any player to get extra work on their bating, throwing, pitching, and defensive skills through science-based curriculum.

When you’re a step behind or want to get ahead of the pack, the Baseball Academy is where you need to be. Tuition is $375 per week or $75 per day. Early registration before December 5th saves $125 per week or $25 per day. Siblings discount offered. Campers responsible for bringing lunch and refreshments. Holiday Break Ocean Discovery Camp

Designed for children ages 6-12, the Holiday Break Ocean Discovery Camp is a fun filled experience for growing young minds. Campers will experience an array of diverse activities each day to learn about the ocean while having fun. Activities include: surf/windsurf lessons, tidepool explorations, shoreline investigations, a whalewatch cruise, hands-on science experiments, sports and games, arts and crafts, a Maui Ocean Center visit and much more. Kids Wrangler Camp

The goal of these camps is to introduce young riders to the great joys of riding while building confidence and balance. Campers will be taught the proper way to groom, saddle, and lead a horse. They will learn to use their four natural aides: legs, weight, voice and hands, the participants will practice starting, stopping, circles, changing direction, control as a group, and equitation.

“School’s Out, Camp’s In” Gymnastics Camps

When your school is out, VIG Gymnastics Camp is in!

Everyone, regardless of gymnastics experience, is invited to attend our “School’s Out, Camp’s In” Gymnastics Camps. Register for one, two, three, four or five days at a time, anytime your school is out, including Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Martin Luther King Day. With a minimum of four athletes and staff availability, we can even create a camp specifically for your group’s desired date(s). Participants experience a warmup, including a gymnastics-specific stretch, and then train at their own respective levels on three Olympics apparatuses per day selecting from vault, uneven bars, high bar, balance beam, still rings, floor exercise, PowerTrak tumbling trampoline, and mini-trampoline. We set aside half an hour for BYO snack break, and then gymnasts get to experience an hour of supervised open gym – all in an air-conditioned facility supervised by USA Gymnastics Safety Certified Adult Instructors. Our rate of $30 per half-day and $50 per full-day is about what you’d pay your teenage babysitter, yet you’ll be in the experienced hands of a multi-award winning local professionals.

Acting for Life and Hawaii Educational Art Tours team up to provide ongoing classes and camps to kids for school breaks in Creative Dramatics, Art, and Movement.  Two seasoned teachers and actors , Tom Althouse and Andrea Giammattei,  bring your child a unique enrichment opportunity.  With caring and skill, all children will get equal focus and attention. Camp – Winter Intercession

Whether it’s through singing or acting out skits, playing soccer or swimming; counselors at the Maui Family YMCA day camp programs have led kids in developing good values and having fun for more than 45 years. If location is an issue, the YMCA runs camp programs in Kihei and two locations in Kahului.

In addition to our day camp programs, we offer a junior counselor program for ages 14-16. This program is for teens that are too old for camp and not quite old enough to be a paid counselor.
