The 2019 Education Fairs will take place:
Maui – Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 12:00pm – 4:00pm, at the Maui Beach Hotel 

The HAIS Education Fair offers a line-up of independent schools, exhibitors, guest speakers and keiki activities, giving parents a unique and free opportunity to have all their education questions answered in a central location.

All About the SSAT admission test (for students applying to grades 4-12) and the new Character Skills Snapshot
Time – Maui: 1:00pm
This is a great opportunity to hear from EMA — the creator of both the SSAT and the Character Skills Snapshot. The session will cover test content as well as advice on preparation.

Using the SAO to apply to schools (for students applying to grades Pre-K-12)

Time – Maui: 2:00pm
Families can use just ONE application to apply to many HAIS schools using the SAO. There is no need to fill out different applications for different schools! This session will help you understand the application process and how to get started using the SAO.

Kindergarten & Elementary School Admission
Time –  Maui: 12:00pm
This session will help parents better understand the choices they have for their children, when it comes to applying to private schools. The session will address considering the best fit for your child, as well as how to prepare for the process.

Time – Maui: 3:00pm
Affording private schools can be expensive, but there are ways to help finance it. This session will explore how families can finance a private school education.
