Celebrate the Year of the Brown Earth Dog on February 17th, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Maui Mall as it presents Maui’s 20th Annual Chinese New Year Festival brought to you by the Maui Chinese New Year Festival Committee. This year’s celebration includes Lion Dancing, Keiki Chinese Attire Contest, Tai Chi Demonstration, Martial Arts Demonstration, a presentation of Narcissus Queen and her Court, and, of course, many food and craft booths. The Chinese New Year Festival is one of the biggest cultural observances on Maui. Don’t miss it!
