20th Annual Haiku Ho’olaule’a & Flower Festival

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, APRIL 20TH & 21ST  //  HAIKU COMMUNITY CENTER and HAIKU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

An Annual Community Festival Celebrating the Past, Present and Future of Haiku, Hawaii

HHFFThe 20th Annual Haiku Ho`olaule`a and Flower Festival to benefit Haiku Elementary School, Haiku Community Association and Boys & Girls Club Maui-Haiku will be held Saturday, April 20th, 2013 at the Haiku Community Center and Haiku Elementary School in Haiku, Maui. This year’s theme is “Peace, Love & Haiku”. The event is FREE.

The Maui community and visitors alike are invited to spend the day, bring their families and lawn chairs and join the Haiku community to enjoy fabulous live entertainment, culinary delights from local restaurants and the Haiku PTA, the famous Haiku bake sale, one of the largest silent auctions on Maui, floral design and lei making contests, a Haiku historical display, plenty of activities for Keiki and much more.

The 2-day weekend celebration includes the Haiku Homecoming Lu‘au held at the same location on Sunday, April 21st. The lu‘au is organized by the Haiku Living Legacy project, whose mission is to preserve and perpetuate the historical legacy unique to the greater Haiku community. The community is invited to gather at the lu‘au for food, family, and talk story.
